So, this was inspired by a meal we got from a local restaurant. We did their takeout family-style dinner...it was AMAZING and I now crave these carrots. They are not 100% the same but they will do! Also... go eat at 5280Burger you won't be upset you did!
What to shop for:
Carrots ( I like the multi-color ones to "eat the rainbow" I feel good because its like 3 colors from one thing. #yourwelcome)
Honey
Butter
How to make:
1. Heat oven up...350ish (go back to my "setting expectations post" if you are like wtf girl tell me exactly. )
2. Cut the carrots up. No special way. It just takes less time to cook the smaller they are.
3. Put the carrots in a pan that's for roasting.
4. Drizzle the honey all over the carrots (however much you want. honey isn't the worst type of sugar out there so I use more than some lol)
5. Cut some butter into smaller chunks and place on the carrots spacing out. Now don't go Paula Dean with the butter but let's be honest....more is always better so don't be stingy.
This side is awesome with any main dish. We had it with Chicken, but then I craved them so bad when I made these my daughter and I just at them for a snack.
Enjoy!
xx
